AMCP Pacific is proud to present 2014 Western Regional Conference
The Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy student chapter at the University of the Pacific, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (AMCP-Pacific), cordially invites you to attend the 7th Annual AMCP Western Regional Student Conference. The conference will take place Saturday- Sunday, June 28 - 29, 2014 at Embassy Suites in Sacramento, CA.
The purpose of this two-day student-focused conference is to create an opportunity for student pharmacists to explore the many roles and opportunities within Managed Care and its widespread influence on the ever-growing role of not only pharmacy, but the healthcare system in its entirety. The theme of the conference is “Advancing Healthcare Through Reform and Collaboration.” The main focus will be on current healthcare reform and its impact on pharmacy, more specifically within the niche of Managed Care. Students can utilize this conference to share their ideas and vision about Managed Care to any professional and peers in attendance, thus creating a dynamic environment for self-growth and advocacy.
We will be concluding the conference with the annual AMCP/SIA-Pacific Roundtable Dinner on Saturday night, where attendees will be able to connect with managed care pharmacists over an elegant dinner and learn more about the importance of networking.
Please take the most out of this opportunity to not only learn more about our profession, but also network with both students and pharmacists spanning the West Coast.
On behalf of AMCP – Pacific, thank you very much for your support and we hope to see you all there.
